So, the owner of my FLVGS (Digital Press in Clifton, NJ WOOT) told me to call in at 3 because that's when B:RB would be in, and he'd hold one for me (as he doesn't get the volume to equitably do any kind of preorder system, so "every man for himself" turns out to be the fairest way). He wouldn't put a hold on it for me until he actually had them in hand.

So I called at 3:15 because I couldn't get away from my desk earlier, and they were all gone already. So I called my roommate to pout and it turns out she'd helped clean out the inventory by picking up a copy for me at the very store (which as fortune would have it, is across the street from our house... I suspect she was in the shop seeking a classic console of some kind to buy me for my birtheday next week).

So yay, Beatles Rock Band for me! It's waiting for me when I get home. SO PSYCHED.
